PUBLIC NOTICE The Citrus County School Board will hold an Administrative Hearing; 8:30a.m., and a Special Meeting and Workshop; 9:00a.m., on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in the Board Room of the District Services Center located at 1007 West Main Street, Inverness, Florida. The purpose of the Administrative Hearing is to act upon proposed student expulsion(s). The Special Meeting is to discuss and act upon other business that needs to come before the Board. The Workshop topics are; The State of the District presentation, Florida Educator Health Trust (FLEHT) presentation, Policy 5.201 (Update) Student Out of Zone Transfers/Choice, Policy 5.51 (Update) Health Services Plan, Policy 5.60 (Update) Student Injuries, Policy 5.80 (Update) Athletics, and an update on Withlacoochee Technical College Programs. If any person decides to appeal a decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he may need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record should include testimony and evidence upon which his appeal is to be based.
