PUBLIC NOTICE The Citrus County School Board will hold an Administrative Hearing; 3:00p.m., a Regular Meeting; 4 :00p.m., and a Public Hearing 5:00p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Board Room of the District Services Center located at 1007 West Main Street, Inverness, Florida. The purpose of the Administrative Hearing is to act upon proposed student expulsion(s). The Regular Meeting is to discuss and act upon other business that needs to come before the Board. The Public Hearing is to adopt the Attendance Boundaries for the 2026-27 School Year, Policy 5.51 (Update) Health Services Plan, Policy 5.60 (Update) Student Injuries, Policy 5.201 (Update) Student Out-of-Zone Transfers/Choice, and Policy 5.80 (Update) Athletics. If any person decides to appeal a decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he may need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record should include testimony and evidence upon which his appeal is to be based.
