NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF MARY ESTHER MAJOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 6:00 pm or as soon thereafter as may be heard at City Hall City Council Chambers, 195 N. Christobal Road, Mary Esther, FL 32569. The purpose of the hearing is for the City Council to hear the request for a preliminary development order amendment for a big box retail/grocery market located at 300 Mary Esther Blvd., Mary Esther, FL 32569, at the site of the former JCPenney Dept. store. All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Hearing. Any person requiring a special accommodation because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the City Clerks office at 850-243-3566 Ext.111 at least 48 hours prior to the hearing. Any person seeking to appeal any decision made at the public hearing will need to record the proceedings and, for such purpose, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
