CITY OF POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED of Public Hearings before the City Commission on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the City Commission Chamber of the City Hall Complex, 100 West Atlantic Boulevard, Pompano Beach, Florida, to consider the Ordinances entitled: P.H. 2026-25: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 91, "BOATS AND WATER RECREATION," OF THE POMPANO BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES BY CREATING SECTION 91.17, POMPANO BEACH OVERNIGHT ANCHORING LIMITATION AREA, TO ESTABLISH AN ANCHORING LIMITATION AREA WITHIN THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. P.H. 2026-27: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 155, ZONING CODE, OF THE POMPANO BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY AMENDING SECTION 155.2432., REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION, AND SECTION 155.2434., COMMUNITY RESIDENCE AND RECOVERY COMMUNITY CERTIFICATE, TO COMPLY WITH FLORIDA CHAPTER 2025-182, LAWS OF FLORIDA, RELATING TO CERTIFIED RECOVERY RESIDENCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested persons are urged to attend the Public Hearing(s), send a representative, or express their views by letter. All interested persons take due notice of the time and place of the Public Hearing(s) and govern yourselves accordingly. Any person, who decides to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at these meetings, will need a record of the proceedings and for this reason, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made. This record will include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
