?Ad#12045268 02/03/2026 NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT MUNICIPAL IMPACT FEES Notice is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Cocoa Beach, Florida, intends to consider the adoption of new municipal impact fees for police, fire, and general government facilities. The proposed impact fees are based on the City of Cocoa Beach 2026 Municipal Impact Fee Study prepared by Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc., dated January 26, 2026. The study evaluates the capital costs attributable to new growth and calculates proportionate impact fees consistent with Florida law. The City Commission may consider adoption of an ordinance establishing these impact fees at a public hearing to be held on March 19, 2026. The proposed impact fees, if adopted, would apply to new development within the City of Cocoa Beach as provided by ordinance and state law and would not be effective sooner than ninety (90) days after the date of this Notice. A copy of the impact fee study is available for public inspection at City Hall during normal business hours and on the Citys website. Interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed impact fees. The public hearing will take place on March 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
