The workshop is open to the public and all interested persons are encouraged to attend. Elected officials may be in attendance. EXTREME RAINFALL STUDY - VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT: Hardee County is also requesting public input on the findings of its Extreme Rainfall Study, conducted as part of the County’s Vulnerability Assessment funded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The study evaluates projected impacts from future extreme rainfall events and associated flooding throughout Hardee County, including the City of Wauchula, Town of Zolfo Springs, and City of Bowling Green. Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to review study results, ask questions, and provide feedback to help inform future resilience and planning efforts.
