FOR A VARIANCE REQUEST

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held before the Highlands County Board of Adjustment on the 14th day of April 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the County Commissioners Board Room, Highlands County Government Center Building, 600 South Commerce Avenue, Sebring, Florida, to consider a variance of 7.0 feet to allow an 18-foot rear yard setback instead of the required 25 feet to reconstruct a damaged dwelling, at 108 Foxhunt Avenue, Lake Placid, within the area described as follows: The East 85.98 feet of the West 110.98 feet of the North 101.94 feet of the South 407.76 feet of the North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the Southeast Quarter of Section 8, Township 37 South, Range 30 East, Highlands County, Florida; being Lots 19 and 22 of an unrecorded subdivision entitled East Highway Park Subdivision, as described in a deed and or probate recorded in Book 1144, Page 957, of the Public Records of Highlands County, Florida.

Any person who might wish to appeal any decision made by this committee/group, in public hearing or meeting is hereby advised that he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record will include the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
