LEPC Public Notice of the Availability of Hazardous Materials Information The Emerald Coast Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) receives certain hazardous materialsinformation reported by facilities under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986(EPCRA); and makes it available to the public by request as required under the law. Information which may have been reported to LEPC: Chemical Inventories from facilities that have hazardousmaterials above certain quantities, safety data sheets containing information on a materials properties andhealth hazards, and emergency release notifications and written follow-up letters if a release exceeded reportable quantities. The above information, except for certain information authorized under EPCRA to be withheld, is available to thepublic under the Right to Know provisions of EPCRA to help inform community and personal planning forhazardous materials releases. The Emerald Coast LEPC serves Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, and Baycounties in Northwest Florida.
