Public hearing to vacate a portion of right-of-way in Lake Bonny Park.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO 
APPLY TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO VACATE AND CLOSE A 
PORTION OF PLATTED,
UNOPENED AND UNMAINTAINED RIGHT-OF-WAY WITHIN THE PLAT OF CRUSE
AND HORNEYS FIRST ADDITION TO LAKE BONNY PARK, 
LAKELAND, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA.
Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Polk County, Florida, upon petition of Harold J. Myers, Manager of Arizona Holding IV, LLC will, at 9:00 a.m., or shortly thereafter, on the 7th day of April 2026, in the Board Room of the Polk County Administration Building, 330 West Church Street, Bartow, Florida, consider and determine whether or not the County will vacate, abandon, discontinue, and close portions of platted rights-of-way described as:
 
THAT PORTION OF PLATTED RIGHT-OF-WAY LYING SOUTH OF LOT 5, BLOCK 3 AND NORTH OF LOT 3, BLOCK 4, AS SHOWN ON CRUSE AND HORNEYS FIRST ADDITION TO LAKE BONNY PARK AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8, PAGE 45, PUBLIC RECORDS OF POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA. ALL LYING IN SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 28 SOUTH, RANGE 24 EAST.
 
And renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to said portion of right-of-way and the land in connection therewith. Persons interested may appear and be heard at the time and place above specified.
Should any person decide to appeal any decision made by the Board at this meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of these proceedings is made.
