NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION 201 HOWELL AVENUE BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA 34601 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Meeting in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, on March 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to review a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the City of Brooksville Comprehensive Plan. The subject property is approximately 1.3 acres and is located on the east side of South Main Street approximately 660 feet south of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. The petitioner requests that the City amend the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map to change the parcels designation from Hernando County South Brooksville Planned Development District to City of Brooksville South Brooksville Planned Development District. Copies of the proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment may be reviewed at the Community Development Department Office, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
