To be considered on first and second reading will be the following ordinance(s) entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARGATE, FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE 2021-9 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 2022-2, PROVIDING FOR THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FOR SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICES WITH REPUBLIC SERVICES OF FLORIDA LIMITED PARTNERSHIP D/B/A ALL SERVICE REFUSE TO PROVIDE CLARIFICATION REGARDING THE USE OF SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Said ordinance(s) may be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, 5790 Margate Boulevard, Margate, Florida or by emailing  jjohnson@margatefl.com. All interested parties are invited to attend the meeting and be heard with respect to the above, or to
view the meeting remotely.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at these meetings, s/he will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Anyone desiring a verbatim transcript shall have the responsibility, at his/her own expense, to arrange for the transcript.
