City of Melbourne Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant Expansion
The City of Melbourne FL and Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. are preparing to issue the invitation to bid for the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Expansion Project. The project will consist of the construction of a new RO WTP with a capacity of 10 million gallon per day (MGD), expandable to 15 MGD.
Prior to bid advertisement, the City will host an pre-advertisement meeting on the project site for the purpose of providing awareness to contractors of the upcoming bid advertisement. This event will give contractors and vendors the opportunity to visit the site and view the projects overall site plan.
To ensure this event does not provide a competitive advantage to contractors in attendance, no technical questions or information pertaining to contract documents will be discussed.
