PUBLIC NOTICE THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA, will hold a Special Board Meeting for the purpose of conducting student disciplinary hearings. The Special Board Meeting will be held at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, in the Boardroom at the School District Central Administration Complex, located at 202A Highway 85 North, Niceville, Florida. In accordance with Florida law, the student disciplinary hearing portions of this meeting may be closed to the press and public at the request of the parents of the affected students. Any interested party who decides to appeal any decision made by the Okaloosa County School Board with respect to any matter considered during this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This notice does not constitute consent by the School Board for the introduction or admission of otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law. Any person requiring special accommodation at this meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the Superintendent of Schools at (850) 689-7185 prior to the meeting.
