HERONS GLEN RECREATION DISTRICT NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED BOARD MEETING The Herons Glen Recreation District Board Meetings scheduled for March 5, 2026 (Meet the Candidates) and March 25, 2026 (Regular Meeting) are canceled. In lieu thereof, the Board will hold a Regular Meeting on March 16, 2026. The March 16, 2026 meeting will be held in the Herons Glen Clubhouse at 2250 Herons Glen Boulevard, North Fort Myers, Florida, 33917, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The meeting is open to the public and the public is invited to attend. Any person requiring special accommodation at any of the meetings because of a disability or physical impairment should contact Herons Glen at 239-731-4533 at least five (5) calendar days prior to the meeting. The Districts previously scheduled Election for one member of the Board on March 24, 2026 is canceled, because only one candidate qualified for the one open position. IF A PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE HERONS GLEN RECREATION DISTRICT WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT SUCH MEETING OR HEARING, (S)HE WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND THAT, FOR SUCH PURPOSE, (S)HE MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
