NOTICE OF SOLICITATION FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
SECURITY SERVICES
Osceola County, Florida
Notice is hereby given the Windward Community Development District (the "District") requests proposals to provide Security Services including but not limited to, patrolling and securing district property and supervising residents and guests entering and leaving the community, as more specifically set forth in the project manual.
The project manual comprised of proposal and contract documents will be available for the public inspection and may be obtained beginning Monday, March 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., from the District Manager's office, 219 East Livingston Street, Orlando, Florida 32801, or by contacting Jarett Wright at jwright@gmscfl.com or 407-841-5524.
Firms desiring to provide services for this project must submit one (1) electronic copy and one (1) physical copy of the required proposal no later than April 1, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the office of the District Manager, 219 East Livingston Street, Orlando, Florida 32801 ATTN: Jason Showe, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope pursuant to the Instructions to Proposers. Proposals received after the time and date stipulated above will be returned unopened to the Proposer.
Ranking of Proposers will be made in accordance with the criteria set forth in the ranking worksheet contained within the Request for Proposal. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, with or without cause, to waive minor technical errors and informalities, or to accept the proposal which, in its judgment, is in the best interest of the District.
