ORANGE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Orange County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on April 21, 2026, at 2 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the County Commission Chambers, First Floor, County Administration Center, 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida. You are invited to attend and be heard regarding the following request: Applicant: Lonnie Caldwell, Amendment # SS-26-02-039 Consideration: To change the Future Land Use designation from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Low-Medium Density Residential (LMDR) in order to allow for eight attached residential dwelling units. The current Low Density Residential (LDR) Future Land Use allows for a density of four units per acre while the Low-Medium Density Residential (LMDR) Future Land Use allows for up to ten units per acre. The subject property is 0.83-acre; pursuant to Part II, Chapter 163, Florida Statutes and Orange County Code Location: District 3; property located at 6606 Winegard Rd; generally located on the west side of Winegard Rd., south of W. Lancaster Rd., north of Orwell Avenue, Orange County, Florida (legal property description on file in Planning Division) AND In conjunction with the adoption of the above Comprehensive Plan Amendment, the BCC will consider adoption of the following Ordinance: Consideration: AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING IN ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA; AMENDING THE ORANGE COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE 2010-2030 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, AS AMENDED, BY ADOPTING SMALL-SCALE DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 163.3187, FLORIDA STATUTES; AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATES.
