PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY COUNCIL MEETING
CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA
The City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM, or soon thereafter, and from time to time thereafter as necessary, at the Riviera Beach Event Center located at 190 East 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, to consider the below Ordinance:
An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Florida, amending the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 20 (Utilities), Article V (Water), Division II, Cross Connection Control, to enact cross connection control regulations to protect the Citys drinking water system from contaminants; providing a conflicts clause; providing a codification clause; providing a severability clause; providing a savings clause; and providing an effective date.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.
Background material is available for review in its entirety in the City of Riviera Beach Utility Special District Administration Building located at 600 W Blue Heron Boulevard Riviera Beach, Florida 33404, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays. A copy of the proposed ordinance can also be reviewed on the Citys webpage at www.rivierabeach.org.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at the meetings, such interested person, at their own expense, will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (FSS 286.0105).
