NOTICE OF CLOSED LITIGATION SESSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of IndianRiver County, Florida, will conduct a closed meeting for Litigation Session: The County Attorney's Office has scheduled a closed litigationsession on April 7, 2026, at 10:30 am with the Board of CountyCommissioners to discuss the cases of Eric Flowers, Indian RiverCounty Sheriff vs. Indian River County. The closed litigationsession will be attended by Jennifer W. Shuler, County Attorney,John A. Titkanich, Jr., ICMA-CM, County Administrator, andChristopher Hicks, Assistant County Attorney, and members ofthe Board of County Commissioners. The meeting is not open tothe public pursuant to F.S. 286.0114(8). Discussion will be limitedto settlement negotiations and litigation strategy. The estimatedtime for the closed session is an hour. The entire closed litigationsession will be recorded by a certified court reporter. The Closed Litigation Session will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:30a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the CountyCommission Chambers located on the first floor of Building A of the CountyAdministrative Complex, 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. Once theclosed session is announced it will then move to the Board Conference room onthe second floor.
