NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON STATE HOUSING INITIATIVES PARTNERSHIP AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FISCAL YEAR 2026/2027 Consistent with the Local Housing Assistant Plan (LHAP) and Consolidated Plan adopted by the Village of Wellington, the Village encourages citizens to apply for its Fiscal Year (FY) 2026/2027 SHIP Program and CDBG Program to assist in homeownership assistance to very low and low income families. The types of assistance are for owner-occupied rehabilitation and emergency replacement. Applicants will be ranked for assistance based on a first-qualified, first-served basis with priorities for Special Needs, Essential Services Personnel, and income groups, subject to funding availability. The application period will commence on May 1, 2026 and end on June 1, 2026. Applications must be submitted no later than 5 PM on June 1, 2026, to be reviewed for assistance. Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Applications can be completed online at www.wellingtonfl.gov through the Neighborly software portal.
