PUBLIC NOTICE MARCO ISLAND, FLORIDA INVITATION TO BID City of Marco Island Annual Resurfacing ITB# 2026-005 Electronic Bids will be received at www.Demandstar.com until 2:00 PM (EST) March 10, 2026. It is preferred for all bids to be submitted electronically through Demandstar (www.demandstar.com). However, paper sealed bid proposals are still accepted. A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM (ET), February 12, 2026, at 1310, San Marco Road, Marco Island, FL 34145. GENERAL DESCRIPTION PLEASE REFER TO PROJECT PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR DETAILED REQUIREMENTS The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to resurface the existing pavement with a Superpave asphalt mix. Work includes milling, surface preparation, paving, compaction, and traffic control at the following locations: Neil Bahr Way, Tripoli Ct, Antilles Ct, Fruitland Ave, Hartley St, Admiralty Ct, Hunt Ct, Strawberry Ct, Marquesas Ct, and Wales Ct. Manhole and valve adjustments, temporary pavement striping, raised pavement markers and thermoplastic striping, and side street transitions are also included. The work shall be in accordance with the current edition of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard specifications for Road and Bridge construction. Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Owner may not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
