REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)FOR THE NORTH FORT MYERS SEPTIC TO SEWER
ENGINEERING SERVICES (REBID), FGUA PROJECT NO. NFP 23
In accordance with the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act ("CCNA"), section 287.055, Florida Statutes, the Florida Governmental Utility Authority, a legal entity and public body created by interlocal agreement pursuant to section 163.01, Florida Statutes, ("FGUA"), is seeking the services of a qualified engineering firm for preliminary and final engineering design, bidding and consultant services during construction for the North Fort Myers Septic to Sewer Project.
The FGUA has pursued and received partial grant funding in addition to a State Revolving Fund (SRF) design loan for the Septic to Sewer Project in North Fort Myers. This project has been previously identified in FGUA planning documents and the 2023 Lee County Countywide Wastewater Management Plan. Further information on the project and the location is provided in the RFQ.
Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be uploaded to: https://www.demandstar.com/
app/buyers/bids/520599 by 2pm Eastern Standard Time, March 11, 2026. Any SOQ uploaded after this advertised deadline will not be considered.
Failure to provide the required information may result in the SOQ being deemed nonresponsive. The FGUA reserves the right to reject all SOQs, waive any informalities and to request additional information from the applicant if necessary. The evaluation of all SOQs and awarding of a contract will be done in accordance with the CCNA. Approval to negotiate an Engineering Services Agreement with the top ranked Proposer, is anticipated to occur at the April 16, 2026, Board Meeting.
