Phase I, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified subcontractors until March 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST and then will be publicly opened shortly thereafter for the following trades:

Sealed bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or dropped off in person at:
Hand Delivered Bids - Walton County School District, 555 Walton Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, 32433 until 2:00 PM CST on March 12, 2026  
Mailed Bids ? It is highly recommended that if you choose to mail your bid that delivery is scheduled for March 11 and the outer envelope must be labeled "SEALED BID FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC COMPLEX - PHASE I. DO NOT OPEN UNTIL MARCH 12, 2026, AT 2:00 PM CST"
Bids may also be dropped off in person at: 555 Walton Rd (555 Walton Rd, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433)
Bid envelopes must be clearly labeled:
"SEALED BID ? FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC COMPLEX ? PHASE I" and must identify the specific scope of work being bid and must include project number, date and time of the bid.

Electronic bid submissions and bids received after the stated deadline will not be accepted.
Pre-Bid Site Visit
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on February 19, 2026, at 10:30 AM CST. Meeting location will take place at the project site located at 12615 US-331 BUS, Freeport, FL 32439

Walton County School District and Bear General Contractors reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding process.
