YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on February 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., and the Punta Gorda City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, to consider the following request:
ZA-01-2026 - An Ordinance of the City of Punta Gorda, Florida, Amending Chapter 26, Punta Gorda Code, the City of Punta Gorda Land Development Regulations, to establish procedures for the review and approval of certified recovery residences and a process for requesting reasonable accommodations from local land use regulations as mandated by Florida law, including Section 397.487(15)(a), Florida Statutes; Amending Article 3, Section 3.2(c) EP, Environmental Preserve District  Uses Permitted with Conditions;
