NOTICE OF SUBMITTED APPLICATION TO THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that the Southwest Florida Water Management District has received an application for a Renewal with Modification of Water Use Permit No. 20002689.022 from East Charlotte Drainage District, 12008 Northeast Highway 70, Arcadia FL 34266 to withdraw water from wells and or surface waters. Application received: January 23, 2026. Predominant use type: Agricultural and Mining / Dewatering. Quantity 3,089,500 gpd AAD. Location: Section(s) 9, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 33, 34 Township 40 South, Range 26 East, in Charlotte County. The application is available for public inspection Monday through Friday at 7601 U.S. Highway 301 North, Tampa, Florida 33637 or through the Application & Permit Search Tools function on the Districts website at www.watermatters.org/permits/.
