NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULE: The Southwest Florida Water Management District is proposing to amend the following rule(s): 40D-8.624 Guidance and Minimum Levels for Lakes This amendment to Rule 40D-8.624 would revise revised minimum and guidance levels, pursuant to Sec. 373.042, F.S., for Lake Angelo and Lake Denton in Highlands County. Minimum flows and levels are used in the Districts permitting and resource management and development programs. The Notices of Proposed Rulemaking appeared in the Florida Administrative Register, Vol. 52, No. 78, on April 22, 2026. A copy of the proposed rules can be viewed on the Districts website at https://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/business/epermitting/rules/proposed-rule-amendments.
