NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Destin Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 5:30 P.M., at Destin City Hall Annex, 4100 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin, Florida, to consider the following: 1. VARIANCE REQUEST PZ-2026-48 Dean Burgis, President of ECAE, LLC is seeking relief from Land Development Code (LDC) Section 7.12.08.K.i, which requires a front setback of 10 feet minimum to 20 feet maximum for building having a height of 40 feet or less. The Applicant is seeking variance from the front setback for Crystal Beach Drive. The subject property is located at 35000 Emerald Coast Parkway, Destin FL, 32541 (00-2S-22-0000-0001-039A). 2. VARIANCE REQUEST PZ-2026-57 Craig Schultz is seeking relief from Land Development Code (LDC), Table 7-3, which requires a front setback of 20 feet. The applicant is requesting a front setback of 13 feet. The subject property is located at 21 Pine Ridge Trace, Destin FL 32541 (00-2S-22-2077-000A-0020). Copies of the above-mentioned subject may be requested by public records request. Please call (850) 837-4242 for the City Clerk. The public is encouraged to provide written and/or verbal comments on the above referenced matters. All persons are advised that, if any person decides to appeal any decision made at any of these meetings, he/she will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, they need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Florida Statutes 286.0105).
