EVEREST GMR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION, AND AUDITOR SELECTION COMMITTEE MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors (Board) of the Everest GMR Community Development District (District) will conduct a regular meeting and hold an attorney-client session, as well as an Auditor Selection Committee meeting on May 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at 8298 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy., Kissimmee, Florida 34747.The meetings and the attorney-client session may be continued to a date, time and place approved by the Board on the record without additional publication of notice. There may be occasions when one or more Supervisors will participate by telephone. The Auditor Selection Committee will review, discuss, and establish the minimum qualifications and evaluation criteria that the District will use to solicit audit services. The regular Board meeting and attorney-client session will take place prior to the Audit Committee meeting where the Board may consider any other business that may properly come before it. The regular meeting and Auditor Selection Committee meeting are open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida law. A copy of the agendas for the meetings may be obtained from the Districts website at https://everestgmrcdd.com, or by contacting the District Manager, PFM Group Consulting LLC, 3501 Quadrangle Blvd., Suite 270, Orlando, Florida 32817, Phone: (407) 723-5900 (District Office). The attorney-client session, which is closed to the public, will be held to discuss ongoing litigation entitled Everest GMR Community Development District v. WBA Portfolio Owner, et al., Osceola County Circuit Court Case No. 2024-CA-003324ED. This meeting is being held pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and will be confined to discussion of settlement negotiations and strategy related to litigation expenditures. The following persons are anticipated to be in attendance: Jonathan Johnson, David Portwood Sr., Noelle Morzan, Sean Palmer, Raquel Marte-Lluberes, David Reed, Jane Gaarlandt, Kwame Jackson, Thomas Callan, Dan Langley, and a court reporter. The attorney-client session, which is expected to last 45 minutes, will be opened during the public meeting, at which time the individuals identified above will meet in private. The attorney-client session shall be recorded by the court reporter and made part of the public record upon conclusion of the litigation. The board will reconvene the regular public meeting at the conclusion of the attorney-client session. Pursuant to provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this meeting is asked to advise the District Office at least forty-eight (48) hours before the meeting by contacting the District Manager at (407) 723-5900.
