CITY OF LIGHTHOUSE POINT, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City Commission of the City of Lighthouse Point, Florida, public hearing will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. or later, at City Commission Chambers, Fletcher Hall, located at 2200 NE 38 th Street, Lighthouse Point, Florida 33064. The meeting will be a Hybrid meeting, allowing both in-person attendance and virtual attendance via the Zoom virtual meeting platform, on the following ordinance on Second Reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LIGHTHOUSE POINT, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 5, ENTITLED LAW ENFORCEMENT, OF THE CITY OF LIGHTHOUSE POINT CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO DANGEROUS DOGS; AMENDING ARTICLE III, ENTITLED ANIMALS, BY AMENDING DIVISION 1, ENTITLED DEFINITIONS, AND DIVISION 4, ENTITLED DANGEROUS DOGS, TO CONFIRM WITH STATE LAW; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Any member of the public wishing to attend the virtual meeting may obtain the information for doing so on the Citys website at https://lighthousepointfl.gov/129/Agendas-Minutes or contact the City Clerk at ndavisson@lighthousepointfl.gov. If a person decides to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, the person will need a record of the proceedings and that, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (FS 286.0105).
