NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING AN AMENDMENT TO THE SUWANNEE COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD OF SUWANNEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, SERVING ALSO AS THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY OF SUWANNEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Sections 163.3161 through 163.3248, Florida Statutes, as amended, and the Suwannee County Land Development Regulations, as amended, hereinafter referred to as the Land Development Regulations, objections, recommendations and comments concerning the amendment, as described below, will be heard by the Planning and Zoning Board of Suwannee County, Florida, serving also as the Local Planning Agency of Suwannee County, Florida, at a public hearing on April 30, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the City of Live Oak City Hall, City Council Meeting Room, located at 101 Southeast White Avenue, Live Oak, Florida. CPA 26-02, an application by Russell & Vickie DePratter, to amend the Future Land Use Plan Map of the Comprehensive Plan by changing the land use classification from AGRICULTURE-1 to INDUSTRIAL on property described, as follows: The South 1/2 of the following described property All that part of the SW 1/4 of Section 26, Township 1 South, Range 12 East, Suwannee County, Florida, lying East of 169th Road, LESS AND EXCEPT the S 3/4 of the S 1/2 of the S 1/2 of said SW 1/4: No further notice concerning the matter will be published, unless said continuation exceeds six calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced public hearing. At the aforementioned public hearing, all interested parties may appear to be heard with respect to the amendment. Copies of the amendment are available for public inspection at the Office of the Director of Planning and Zoning, located at 224 Pine Avenue, Live Oak, Florida, during regular business hours.
