THE CITY HALL BUILDING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Planning and Zoning Board Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 6:00 P.M. REQUEST FOR VARIANCE: VAR 26-01 NAME OF APPLICANT: Jeff Elman PROJECT NAME: Elman Residence Fence Variance PROJECT LOCATION: 316 SW 76 Terrace PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Ordinance: Variance to permit an eight-feet (8 ft.) high fence in the rear yard where only six-feet (6 ft.) are permitted by Section 106-184 (b) of the Citys Code of Ordinances. No economic impact to the business community is expected as defined by Senate Bill 170. SIGN WAIVER: SWAV 26-02 NAME OF APPLICANT: Strong Tower Church PROJECT NAME: Strong Tower Church Sign Waiver PROJECT LOCATION: 7500 Southgate Blvd. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To Allow: One main wall sign with 20-inch-high lettering titled Strong Tower Church on the North facing elevation, whereas Section 94-16(C)(2)(c) of the Citys Code of Ordinances allows for 16-inches in maximum letter height within a Community Business (B-2) zoning district.
