Charlotte County - Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization C A L E N D A R The Public is Invited to Participate In Person Charlotte County-Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board Meeting and FY 2025/2026 FY 2029/2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment. FY 2025/2026 FY 2029/2030 TIP Amendment: Project #4541673, a new transit project awarded to Hope Hospice through the FTA Section 5310 Seniors & Individuals with Disabilities Program for FY 2026, must be added to the FY 2025/2026 FY 2029/2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to allow the use of federal reimbursable funds. The TIP is a federally required, annually developed document that identifies all programmed transportation improvements over a fiveyear period. This amendment also incorporates the FTA Program of Projects (POP) for Section 5310 funding awarded to Charlotte County. Adoption of the TIP fulfills federal public participation requirements for the POP and ensures continued compliance with federal planning regulations. The Public is invited to attend in person. Public comments may be provided at the meeting or in advance via email or postal address below.
