NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF PORT RICHEY CITY COUNCIL The City Council of the City of Port Richey, Florida, will hold a public hearing on May 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at City Hall, 6333 Ridge Road, Port Richey, Florida, to consider the adoption of the following Resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 26-03 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE USE OF THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTION OF NON-AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE PASCO COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER TO PROVIDE NOTICES; AUTHORIZING THE PASCO COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO COLLECT CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT FINES IMPOSED AS LIENS ON PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY, AND OTHER LIENS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE Resolution No.26-03 will allow for the imposition of non-ad valorem assessments against properties within the city limits that have outstanding code enforcement fines and other liens on an annual basis pursuant to Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes (Uniform method for the levy, collection, and enforcement of non-ad valorem assessments). All documents related to the proposed resolution are available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 6333 Ridge Road, Port Richey, Florida, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearing or may submit written comments to the City Clerk prior to the hearing. If a person decides to appeal any City Council decision, he or she will need to arrange for a verbatim record of the proceedings. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this meeting should contact the City Clerks Office at (727) 816-1900, extension 175, at least 48 hours in advance.
