INITIAL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all concerned that the Board of County Commissioners of Gadsden County, Florida, intends, at a regular meeting, at the Gadsden County Governmental Complex, 9-B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida, at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st day of April, 2026, to consider the acquisition of Silver Oak Drive pursuant to Section 62-71 et seq. of the Gadsden County Code of Ordinances. Silver Oak Drive is located off State Road 12 (Havana Highway), west of the intersection with County Road 159 (Salem Road). INTERESTED PARTIES MAY APPEAR AT THE MEETING AND BE HEARD WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPOSED ACQUISITION. IF A PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WITH RESPECT TO THIS MATTER, HE OR SHE WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE, HE OR SHE MUST ASSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORDING OF THE PROCEEDING IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
