NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Council Chamber on the second floor of City Hall, 555 South Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL 32796, commencing at 6:30 p.m., in accordance with City of Titusville Ordinance No. 7-2021 and the Land Development Regulations, the City of Titusville City Council will hold a public hearing to hear interested persons with regard to the following request for a public purpose variance:

Public Purpose Variance Application No. 1-2026  Land Development Regulations (LDRs), Chapter 30, Article III, Division 6.

LDR Section 30-207(a)(5), Area of Critical Concern Performance  To allow a variance and exceed the maximum impervious surface requirement of forty (40) percent within the Area of Critical Concern, excluding publicly dedicated right-of-way and jurisdictional wetlands.

LDR Section 30-207(a)(6)a, Area of Critical Concern Performance  To allow a variance and exceed the maximum impervious surface requirement of twenty (20) percent for portions of the site located within three hundred (300) feet of an active municipal production well site.

LDR Section 30-207(a)(6)b, Area of Critical Concern Performance  To allow a variance and exceed the maximum impervious surface requirement of twenty-five (25) percent for portions of the site located between three hundred (300) feet and seven hundred fifty (750) feet of an active municipal production well site,

for property located in the Public (P) zoning district, located at 665 N Singleton Avenue, Titusville, Florida, as submitted by Brevard County Parks and Recreation.

The proposed variance application may be inspected by the public in the City of Titusville Planning Department during normal business hours, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays and weekends). All interested parties are hereby advised that they may appear at said meeting and public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed application.

These matters are subject to the quasi-judicial rules of procedure.

Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Council with respect to any matter being considered at these meetings will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

The City desires to accommodate persons with disabilities. Accordingly, any physically handicapped person, pursuant to Chapter 286.26 Florida Statutes, should, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, submit a request that the physically handicapped person desires to attend the meeting to the City Clerks Office.
