NOTICE OF MEETINGS Notice is hereby given that Sumter County Emergency Management Division will be holding a Local Mitigation Strategy Meeting on April 30, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Sheriff William Farmer Public Safety Building, located at 7361 Powell Road, Wildwood, FL 34785 The purpose of the Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) is to coordinate all mitigation activities within the county. The LMS develops and revises the Local Mitigation Strategy Plan, and prioritizes local mitigation projects. Membership is open to all jurisdictions, county government, private and civic organizations, property owner associations, state agencies, independent special districts, and non-profit organizations supporting mitigation efforts.
