DOB:01-16-2016, Case Number 25J01752; J.D.V., Sex: F, Age: 14 YRS. DOB:04-24-2011, Case Number 25J01754++ TO: DELIA VASQUEZ ORTEGA, Mother GREETINGS: Pursuant to Order of this Court, you are hereby notified that on or about August 8, 2025, a Petition for Termination of Parental Rights was filed in this Court by the Georgia Department of Human Services, through its agent, DeKalb County Division of Family and Children Service (Division or DFCS), whose address is 2300 Parklake Drive NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30345, alleging the whereabouts of the above-named parties are unknown. The above-named children are in the temporary custody of the Division pursuant to a prior order of the Court finding the children to be dependent. The Petition asks the Court to terminate parental rights and obligations of the parent(s), with respect to the children, arising out of the parental relationship, including the right to inheritance, and that the children be committed to the Georgia Department of Human Services with the right to proceed for adoption. A free copy of the Petition may be obtained from the Clerk of the Juvenile Court of DeKalb County, 4309 Memorial Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30030, on any day, Monday through Friday, between the hours 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.You are hereby commanded to be and appear at the DeKalb County Juvenile Court, 4309 Memorial Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30030 on February 2, 2026 at 10:00 o'clock a.m. to show cause why the request of the Division to grant the termination should not be granted. The Hearing is scheduled to be held virtually; a computer will be made available at the courthouse to access the virtual hearing if needed.
