NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Columbia County Planning Commission on March 19th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Building A Auditorium at the Evans Government Complex, 630 Ronald Reagan Drive, Evans, Georgia to consider the application for a Temporary Use Authorization per Section 54-9 Temporary Use Authorization by owner The Reserve Association, Inc. and applicant Augusta National Women’s Amateur for property located along Riverwood Parkway, Tax Map 065 Parcel 386B, 23.30 +/- acres , and currently unzoned as a part of the Riverwood Parkway right-of-way. The applicant is requesting the Temporary Use Authorization to place a security checkpoint tent on the property during the annual Augusta National Women’s Amateur Golf Tournament. If you would like to comment on the proposed Temporary Use Authorization, but are not able to attend the public hearing, you may submit written comments to Mr. Will Butler, Planning Manager, Columbia County, 630 Ronald Reagan Drive, Evans, Georgia 30809 at any time prior to the start of the public hearing.
