The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 2:30 P.M. in the Augusta Commission Chamber, Room 260 on the 2nd floor of the Augusta, Georgia Municipal Building, located at 535 Telfair Street, Augusta, Georgia. A pre-meeting will be held at 2:00 P.M. All people who object to or are interested in these items are welcome to attend. The BZA does not hear actual rezoning petitions. Rezoning petitions are submitted through the Planning Commission. 6. BZA-26-11 – A petition by Lesak Holdings, LLC on behalf of ABW Properties Group, LLC, requesting variances from Sections 13(c) and (d) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance to permit an automobile body and fender repair shop to operate within thirty (30) feet of a residential district, and to allow a building opening that faces the residential area on property located at 1650 Barton Chapel Road.
