PUBLIC NOTICE Advertisement for Bids The FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT OF WILL COUNTY will receive bids at the Forest Preserve District of Will County?s Sugar Creek Administration Center, located at 17540 W. Laraway Road, Joliet, Illinois 60433, until 9:00 a.m. Central Time on Monday, March 23, 2026 for: Theodore Marsh Trail Improvements at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. This project consists of widening the existing 9-10-foot-wide aggregate path to construct a 10-foot-wide hot-mix asphalt bicycle path with 2-foot-wide earth shoulders and minor realignments. The work will include HMA bike path, aggregate base courses, existing path reshaping, tree pruning and protection, placement of embankments, drainage improvements, signing, restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project. The work completed will also address and mitigate the concerns for the current snake population on site.
