NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Public Works Committee of the County Board of Rock Island County, Illinois in the office of the County Engineer, 851 West 10 th Avenue, P.O. Box #797, Milan, Illinois, until 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 10, 2026. Bids will be opened and read at that time for the following: 1. County Highway 50 over Meredosia Ditch, Section #23-00400-00-BR Rehabilitation consisting of:Removal and replacement of the existing prestressed precast concrete deck beams, guardrail replacement and approach roadway work. 2. County Highway 55 over Mill Creek, Section #23-00400-01-BR Rehabilitation consisting of:Removal and replacement of the existing three span (60'-2”, 76'-5”, 60'-2”) prestressed precast concrete deck beam superstructure on the existing spill thru abutments and concrete pier caps on encased piles at station 81+95. This project includes guardrail and approach roadway work. Bid forms giving detailed specifications may be obtained at the office of the County Engineer, P.O. Box #797, 851 West 10 th Avenue, Milan, Illinois 61264, Phone: (309) 787-4668. All bids must be submitted on these forms and returned in a sealed envelope marked with the bid item.
