PUBLIC NOTICE Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 New Lenox, Illinois ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210, New Lenox, IL 60451 will receive sealed bids for: SITE ATHLETIC IMPROVEMENTS AND PAVEMENT  REPLACEMENT PROJECT LINCOLN-WAY COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 210 AT LINCOLN-WAY CENTRAL, EAST & WEST HIGH SCHOOLS AND TRANSPORTATION CENTER – PROJECT #2025.092 D210 PROJECT #26-01 ATTN: CHUCK WELKE The Work shall take place at Lincoln-Way Central, East & West High Schools, and the Transportation Center. The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of a new synthetic turf practice field with associated fencing, scoreboard, and expanded parking at Central, replacement of field events at East, replacement of tennis courts at West, and replacement of asphalt paving with concrete paving at Transportation. Work is to be awarded as a single contract. Refer to the Drawings and Project Manual for the full extent of the Work. The Bid Opening will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 3:30 pm in Room D103b at Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210, 1801 East Lincoln Highway, New Lenox, IL 60451. At this time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 8:00 am commencing at the stadium at Lincoln-Way East High School to provide additional information about the project, answer questions and tour the buildings/sites. The meeting will then proceed to Lincoln-Way Central, Transportation, and Lincoln-Way West. It is the policy of the District to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts and accordingly promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract issued against the solicitation to bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept Bid(s) that, in its opinion, will serve the best interest of the District. Any such decision shall be considered final. The Owner reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. The bidder must also comply with the District's School Board Policy 4:65 – Responsible Bidder Ordinance.
