NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR GEORGE PATTON SCHOOL DISTRICT 133 The following bid notice was published by Patton School District 133: The Patton School District 133 Board of Education is accepting bids for roofing replacement and roofing restoration at General George Patton School. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Scope of Work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary for the removal and replacement of select existing roofing and the restoration of select existing roofing. PROJECT SCHEDULE The work is to be performed at General George Patton School, 13700 S. Stewart Avenue, in Riverdale, Illinois. Work is scheduled to take place June 2026 to August 2026. Complete sets of the Bid Documents may be obtained beginning March 17, 2026 from the District's Architect, Cashman Stahler Group, Inc. by emailing a request to Greg Stahler at gstahler@cashmanstahler.com. Bid Documents will be made available to all Bidders who confirm they meet or exceed the District's bid qualifications. A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the George Patton School, 13700 S. Stewart Avenue, in Riverdale, Illinois. A bidder's failure to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting may be, at the Owner's discretion, grounds for rejection of the Contractor's Bid. The public bid opening is at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in the District Administrative Office located at 150 W. 137th Street, Riverdale, Illinois. Prior to the public bid opening, sealed bids will be received by 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the District Administrative Office. Each bid submission must include a Bid Form, Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid, a fully executed Contractor Qualification Statement (AIA Form A305) and all requested documentation confirming the Contractor meets all District bid qualifications. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract. The Patton School District 133 Board of Education is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other bid and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding procedures and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, or to accept any bid that in it's sole opinion best serves the interests of the School District, as determined by the District.
