Sealed bids requested for abatement contractors for Adult LIFE Academy project.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Sealed bids are requested from State of Illinois Licensed Abatement Contractors for: Eastern Illinois Area Special Education (EIASE) Adult LIFE Academy - Phase II 1617 Lake Land Blvd. Mattoon, Illinois 61938 Qualifications and sealed bids will be received by the Board of EIASE at the Administration Office located at 5837 Park Drive, Charleston, Illinois 61920 until March 10, 2026, 10:00 a.m., local time. Bid proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud by the school administrative staff Late bids will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender, unopened. Bids submitted via facsimile machine will not be accepted. A 10% Bid Security will be required with each proposal. Bid Proposals will be firm for ninety (90) calendar days. The building will be made available for inspection during the mandatory pre-bid meeting. The mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on March 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Adult LIFE Academy. Project specifications and drawings will only be made available to contractors attending the mandatory pre- bid meeting.
