PUBLIC NOTICE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
You are hereby notified that the City of Rock Rapids, Lyon County, Iowa proposes to partially vacate and reduce the certain easement described as follows:
Description of Existing Easement:
A 15-foot utility easement described as the South 15 Feet (S. 15) of Lot Eight (8) and Lot Nine (9) of said easement, in Southridge First Addition to the City of Rock Rapids, Lyon County, Iowa.
Proposed Easement:
Vacate the North Five Feet (N. 5) of the aforementioned fifteen-foot (15) easement. The intent of this vacation is to reduce the total width of the utility easement to the South Ten Feet (S. 10) of said Lots 8 and 9.
You are further notified that a hearing on the proposal to partially vacate and reduce said easements shall be held on the 11th day of May, 2026 at 5:45 PM at 404 First Avenue, Rock Rapids, Iowa.
