NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MANALAPAN PLANNING BOARD TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN AND AMENDMENT OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MANALAPAN PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township of Manalapan, Municipal Building located at 120 Route 522 and Taylors Mills Road, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726, the Planning Board of the Township of Manalapan (hereinafter “Planning Board”), will meet and conduct a public hearing to consider adopting an Amendment to the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan (Fourth Round) and as an Amendment of the Township Master Plan. The Housing Element and Fair Share Plan Amendment was prepared by Jennifer Beahm, PP of Leon S. Avakian, Inc. in accordance with the Fair Housing Act as most recently amended. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13 and N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28, the Planning Board may prepare and, after public hearing, adopt or amend a Master Plan or component parts thereof to guide the use of land within the municipality in a manner which protects public health and safety and promotes the general welfare. Any person affected by or interested in this matter will have the opportunity during the hearing to present any comments to the Planning Board. The Amendment to the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan and all documents, maps and other reports relating to this matter are available to the public for inspection at least ten (10) days prior to the date of the hearing, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Township of Manalapan Municipal Building located at 120 Route 522 and Taylors Mills Road, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726.
