Board of Adjustment meeting schedule adopted for 2026 and January 2027.

Mendham Township  RESOLUTION 26-01  BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT TOWNSHIP OF MENDHAM MORRIS COUNTY, NEW JERSEY FEBRUARY 12, 2026   WHEREAS, Chapter 231 of the Public Laws of 1975 known as the "Open Public Meeting Act", (OPMA), requires every public body to:  Annually designate two newspapers for purposes of giving them the annual meeting schedule required by said Act, and copies of the Adequate Notice as required by said Act, and the Act further requires that one of such newspapers shall be the official newspaper; and  A.) Annually adopt a schedule of regular meetings of the public body to be held during the succeeding year, and requires that such schedule contain the location of the said meetings, the time, and the date, and the same shall be mailed to the newspapers designated, in accordance with said Act, as well as mailed to persons requesting the mailing of notices and also required that such schedule be filed with the Township Clerk, posted and maintained posted throughout the year on the Municipal Bulletin Board.  NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Adjustment of the Township of Mendham, as follows:  1. That the official newspaper of the Board of Adjustment of the Township of Mendham for the year 2026 is hereby designated as the "Daily Record" of Morristown, New Jersey, and in addition thereto, the second newspaper required by the Open Public Meetings Act is hereby designated as the "Observer Tribune" of New Jersey.  2. That the schedule attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof entitled "Regular Meeting Schedule of the Board of Adjustment of the Township of Mendham for 2026 and January 2027", be and the same is hereby adopted.  3. That the Secretary of this Board be and she is hereby authorized and directed to:  A.) Post the meeting schedule and maintain the same posted throughout the year on the bulletin board in the Municipal Building, in the Township of Mendham, and file a copy in the Board of Adjustment Office in the Township of Mendham, and  B.) Certified copies of this Resolution shall be mailed by the Secretary of the Board of Adjustment to the "Daily Record" of Morristown, New Jersey, and the "Observer Tribune", New Jersey and  C.) File a copy of such schedule with the Clerk of the Township of Mendham, and  D.) Mail a copy to persons requesting the mailing of notices. 4. That in all other aspects the provisions of the Resolution adopted on March 13, 2014 relative to the Open Public Meetings Act are hereby confirmed and readopted. P.F.$56.10 02/19/T1
