TOWNSHIP OF MAPLEWOOD NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCE AND PUBLIC HEARING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 257 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MAPLEWOOD ENTITLED, "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC", TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON A PORTION OF CARLETON COURT "Interpretive Statement" This Ordinance will prohibit parking on the west side of the portion of Carleton Court that is adjacent to the railroad. Parking will remain permitted on the east side of the street. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the foregoing proposed Ordinance 3185-26 was introduced at a meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Maplewood, held on February 17, 2026 and that the Township Committee will meet again on March 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 574 Valley Street, Maplewood, New Jersey, at which time and place the Township Committee will hold a hearing and proceed to consider the said Ordinance on final reading and final passage.
