Public Hearing Announcement   PURPOSE: The City of Linden is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at James Dobson Park located at the East Blancke Street and Maple Avenue Intersection in Linden, New Jersey.  PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Linden proposes to create and improve the following new facilities at James Dobson Park: a State-of-the-art, all-access, and all-inclusive playground. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: https://linden-nj.gov/notices/.  PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on February 25th, 2026 during a 6:00 p.m. special council meeting. The meeting will be held in person.
