PUBLIC NOTICETOWNSHIP OF CRANFORDCRANFORD, NEW JERSEYORDINANCE NO. 2026-12AN ORDINANCE ALLOCATING A PORTION OF THE ANNUAL SERVICECHARGE RECEIVED FROM BIRCHWOOD DEVELOPERS URBAN RE-NEWAL ASSOCIATES, LLC TO THE CRANFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLDISTRICTWHEREAS, the Township of Cranford adopted Ordinance 2018-08, adopting aRedevelopment Plan for the properties known as 215 and 235 Birchwood Avenue anddesignated on the Tax Map of the Township of Cranford as Block 291, Lot 15.01, andBlock 292, Lot 2, and approving a 30-year tax exemption (“PILOT”) for the project built onBirchwood Avenue; andWHEREAS, on April 10, 2018, the Township Committee committed to assistingCranford’s Public Schools with the impact that the project contemplated by the Redevel-opment Plan may have on the taxpayers by distributing to the Cranford Public Schoolsa portion of the PILOT the Township shall receive pursuant to the proposed tax
