ORDINANCE NO. 2026-13 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SECAUCUS, NEW JERSEY AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 127-58B OF THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF SECAUCUS ENTITLED “DESIGNATION OF LOCATIONS AT OR NEAR PRIVATE RESIDENCES” SECTION 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Secaucus that Section 127-58B - “Designation of Locations at or Near Private Residences” shall be amended by deleting the following locations: NAME OF STREET SIDE LOCATION Seventh Street West On the west side of Seventh Street, beginning at a point 132 feet south of the southwest corner of Front Street and Seventh Street continuing south for a distance of 22 feet in front of 771 Seventh Street SECTION 2 SEVERABILITY BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the provisions of this ordinance are separable and if any provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part thereof is held illegal, invalid, or unconstitutional, or inapplicable to any person or circumstance, such illegality, invalidity or unconstitutionality, or inapplicability shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, clauses, sentences, subsections, words, or parts of the regulation or their application to other persons or circumstances. It is hereby declared to be the legislative intent that this ordinance would have been adopted if such illegal, invalid, or unconstitutional provision, clause, sentence, subsection, word or part had not been included therein, and if such persons or circumstances, to which the ordinance or part thereof is held inapplicable, had been specifically exempted therefrom. SECTION 3 REPEALER BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed, to the extent of such inconsistency. SECTION 4 EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as provided by law. NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the foregoing proposed ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading at a meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Secaucus in the County of Hudson, New Jersey, on the 10th day of March, 2026 and that said ordinance will be taken up for further consideration for final passage at a meeting of said Mayor and Council to be held in the Municipal Government Center, 1203 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, New Jersey, on the 24th day of March, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as said matter can be reached, at which time and place all persons who may be interested therein will be given the opportunity to be heard concerning the same. A copy of this ordinance has been posted on the bulletin board upon which public notices are customarily posted in the Secaucus Municipal Government Center and a copy is available up to and including the time of such meeting to the public of the town, who shall request such copies, at the office of the Town Clerk in said Municipal Government Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.
